A significant proportion of the carbon fixed by plants is transported to roots and exuded rhizosphere. Exudates may have important roles in rhizosphere, such as desorbing labile phosphorus (P) or mobilizing manganese (Mn) other metal cations. This study evaluated root exudation profiles seedlings 15 eucalypt species response a P shortage if ability exude organic compounds was related Mn accumulation shoots.
